Mike's practice includes business, tax, employment law and tax exempt organizations.  He advises clients on a wide variety of general practice legal issues.

Mike has presented and taught classes for the University of Wisconsin and Marquette University Law schools including “Ethics for Wisconsin Lawyers,” a continuing legal education seminar sponsored by the University of Wisconsin Law School.  He is also active with the Wisconsin Club, having served as President. Mike has received various forms of recognition for service to the community.

Representative Matters and Experience

  • Representation of clients in business, tax, employment law and tax exempt organization matters.
  • Member of the Executive Committee of the Legal Netlink Alliance, an international network of law firms.
  • Has presented classes for the University of Wisconsin and Marquette University Law Schools, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and numerous other public and private organizations.
  • Serves on the Marquette Law School Dean’s Advisory Committee and the Law School Executive Committee.
  • Received the Distinguished Alumnus in Law Award from Marquette University in 2001.
  • Member of the 1881 Society of the Marquette University President’s Council.
  • Certified Public Accountant since 1968.
  • Retired U.S. Army Major General; U.S. Army Distinguished Service medal.
  • Invested into the Orders of St. George and the Knights Templar, Grand Croix Order of Merit and Deputy Grand Prior Region VI.
  • Has been rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell.
