Thomas L. Skalmoski is a partner in our Milwaukee office. His practice includes commercial litigation, employment law and business law. His commercial litigation practice involves a wide variety of business disputes, including contract disputes, intellectual property infringement, unfair competition, insurance coverage disputes and disputes among owners of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Tom’s employment law practice involves counseling clients on employment practices and handling disputes in state and federal administrative agencies and courts. His business law practice is diverse and includes such areas as distributorship relationships, intellectual property protection, consumer product safety issues and a wide variety of state and federal statutory and regulatory compliance matters. Tom devotes a substantial portion of his practice to counseling clients on the use and enforcement of non-compete agreements and confidentiality agreements.
Tom has been an instructor for the American Institute of Paralegal Studies, where he has taught commercial law and torts courses. In addition he has given numerous presentations, including in-house presentations for clients, on non-compete agreements, confidentiality agreements, trade secrets, unfair competition and a wide variety of employment law topics.
