John A. Sikora is a partner in our Delafield and Milwaukee offices. He represents clients in the buying and selling of businesses and real estate, with respect to corporate, partnership and other business matters, and in tax planning.
John is an adjunct professor of law at Marquette University Law School, where he has taught the tax practice and procedure and corporate income tax courses. In addition he has served as the instructor for numerous continuing education programs, including courses offered by the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA), and has frequently been recognized as an outstanding discussion leader for WICPA seminars.
Previously, John was the chair of the Taxation Section of the Milwaukee Bar Association and was the chair of the Board of Directors of the State Bar of Wisconsin Taxation Section. He was also the editor of the Wisconsin State Bar Tax News.
Prior to joining the firm, John was a senior tax professional with Arthur Andersen. Following law school, John served as a law clerk for Judge Richard S. Brown of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.
