Milwaukee, WI – February 2, 2010 – Randy S. Nelson, a partner in the law firm of Weiss Berzowski Brady LLP, has been reappointed to The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) Business Planning Committee for the 2010-2011 College year.
ACTEC is a professional association of approximately 2,700 lawyers from throughout the United States who are skilled and experienced in the preparation of wills and trusts, estate planning, and probate procedure and administration.
Mr. Nelson’s practice includes estate planning, family business planning, advising service corporations and partnerships, tax planning, trust administration and probate. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and an adjunct professor at Marquette University Law School, where he has been teaching estate planning for over twenty years.
Milwaukee, WI – February 2, 2010 – Charles R. Stone has been hired by Weiss Berzowski Brady LLP as an associate. His practice includes general business law with an emphasis on Asia and China.
Mr. Stone is fluent in Mandarin, Chinese and Japanese and lived and worked in China for five years. His knowledge of the Chinese language, culture and law not only serves to facilitate the resolution of legal problems, but also helps to facilitate business with China in general.
Mr. Stone is a graduate of the University of Chicago (B.A., English, with Honors and Special Honors, 1980; M.A. Chinese Language and Literature, 1992; and Ph.D, Chinese Language and Literature, 1999) and Marquette University Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2009), where he was a Thomas More scholar and Senior Articles Editor of the Marquette Law Review. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
