Weiss Berzowski Brady Attorneys Selected for Inclusion in 2009 Super Lawyers

Milwaukee, WI – Nov 20, 2009 – Weiss Berzowski Brady LLP is pleased to announce that five attorneys from its Milwaukee and Delafield offices have been selected for inclusion on the 2009 Wisconsin Super Lawyers and Rising Stars (the state’s young attorneys) lists.

Randy S. Nelson, Philip J. Miller, John A. Sikora, Dwight H. Ellis and Robert B. Teuber were selected for inclusion. Only five percent of the lawyers in the state are named by Super Lawyers. The selections for Super Lawyers are made by Law & Politics, a division of Key Professional Media, Inc.

The Weiss Berzowski Brady attorneys who have been selected for inclusion in Wisconsin Super Lawyers and Rising Stars are:

Randy S. Nelson – Mr. Nelson is a partner in the Milwaukee office, where his practice includes estate planning, family business planning, advising service corporations and partnerships, tax planning, trust administration and probate. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and an adjunct professor at Marquette University Law School, where he has been teaching estate planning for over twenty years. Mr. Nelson is the author of the chapter “Estate Planning for Owners of Closely Held Business” in Eckhardt’s Workbook for Wisconsin Estate Planners published by the State Bar of Wisconsin. He is also a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

John A. Sikora – Mr. Sikora is a partner in the Delafield office of the firm where his practice includes tax planning, tax controversies, real estate law and corporate law. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the State Bar Taxation Section and is an adjunct professor of law at Marquette University Law School where he teaches the corporate income tax and tax practice and procedure courses.

Philip J. Miller – Mr. Miller is a partner in the Milwaukee office where his practice includes estate planning, probate and trust administration, marital property, business succession planning, and elder law. Mr. Miller is a Past President and current member of the Milwaukee Estate Planning Council and a former adjunct faculty member at Marquette University Law School.

Dwight H. Ellis – Mr. Ellis is of counsel with Weiss Berzowski Brady where his practice includes employee benefits law. He advises clients regarding non–qualified and tax–exempt qualified retirement and welfare plans as well as in the areas of benefits distribution and appropriate planning and election. Mr. Ellis is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a member of the Wisconsin, Massachusetts and Arizona state bars.

Robert B. Teuber – Mr. Teuber is an associate in the Milwaukee office where his practice focuses on tax disputes and controversies, tax and business planning and commercial litigation. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and continuing education seminars. Mr. Teuber has also written a number of articles on complex tax and business issues for clients and professionals in professional periodicals.
